Sex Swing Hardware Guide: Carabiners, Straps, Stitching and Attachment Points

Sex swing hardware should be evaluated as part of a complete load-bearing system. A strong-looking connector cannot compensate for damaged straps, weak stitching or an unsuitable mount.

Connectors

Inspect supplied carabiners, rings and other connectors for deformation, cracks, corrosion or gates that do not operate correctly. Use them only in the configuration specified by the manufacturer.

Webbing and straps

Look for cuts, abrasion, fraying, heat damage or unusual stretching, especially near adjustment hardware and sewn loops.

Stitching

Check load-bearing seams for broken or pulled threads and separation between layers.

Adjustment hardware

Buckles and adjusters should hold their setting as designed. Stop using the equipment if straps slip unexpectedly under load.

Attachment points

Mounts, frame connections and structural attachment points must match the manufacturer’s installation requirements.

Do not infer system capacity

Component markings do not establish a higher capacity for the finished swing. Follow the published limit for the complete assembly.

Routine hardware inspection helps identify visible deterioration before the equipment is loaded.
